Common questions

What happens after 14 days?

Your shop is not closed. You keep seeing everything you put in — sales, stock, reports — but you cannot record new sales until you pay. Your data stays yours.

Does it really work with no signal?

Yes. Everything is saved on your phone first and goes up on its own when the signal returns. You can sell all day with no data and lose nothing.

Will my seller see my profit and reports?

Not unless you want them to. A seller sees only what selling needs. Reports, cost prices and settings belong to the owner and the manager.

Which printer do I need?

Any 80mm or 58mm thermal printer — the ones sold in Kariakoo. With no printer, send the receipt on WhatsApp or save it as A4.

What if I have two branches or more?

Each extra branch is half price — 50,000 TZS a year. You switch between branches inside the app, and reports show each one alone or all together.

Do I need a computer?

No. A phone is enough. Profit Lite works on a phone, a tablet or a computer — in the Android app or in a web browser.

What if my phone is lost or broken?

Sign in on another phone with your number. Everything that has already gone up to the server comes back — products, sales, debts and staff. That is why it is worth letting the phone reach a signal at least once a day.

Can I sell on credit?

Yes. Sell on credit, and Debts shows what each customer owes. When they pay a little at a time, take the payment and the balance comes down on its own.

Does it read barcodes?

Yes. On the Sales screen, scan a product's barcode with the phone camera. And every receipt shows its number as a barcode at the foot.

I have many products — must I type them one by one?

No. Bring in the whole list from a CSV file — Excel can save your list that way.
